1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Filleo ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, limits, and shares information when you install or use the Filleo Shopify App (the "App") in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Filleo does not collect or process personal customer data (PII). Specifically, we do not request, access, or store information about your store's end-customers (such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details).

3. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically collect certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Store Information: Your store domain (myshopify.com URL) to authenticate and manage your subscription.
  • Product Information: We access product metadata (such as existing titles, categories, tags, and product types) solely for the purpose of helping you generate AI-enhanced product listings.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to provide and improve the App's functionality:

  • To create and update product listings as requested by you in the app.
  • To communicate with third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini) to generate text for your product listings.
  • To process billing for your use of the App via Shopify's billing API.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your data. We share your information only with essential third-party services required to operate the App:

  • AI Providers: We send product raw data to OpenAI and Google Gemini APIs to generate product listing details. This data is not used by these providers to train their public models.
  • Email Providers: We use Resend to deliver support and feedback emails when you contact us through the App.
  • Shopify: We share necessary data required by Shopify to enforce billing and authentication.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We only retain your Store Information for as long as you have the App installed. When you uninstall the App, we automatically receive a webhook from Shopify to clear your session data.

In accordance with GDPR and Shopify's Mandatory Webhooks requirements:

  • Shop Redact: If you request Shopify to delete your store data, we will wipe all associated records from our database within 48 hours.
  • Customer Redact / Customer Data Request: As our App does not store or process end-customer data, we automatically acknowledge these requests as compliant natively.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
